Oscar de La Hoya Donated a whopping $3.5 million

"Green Dot Public Schools has announced that Oscar de la Hoya donated an whopping $3.5 million dollars to the Los Angeles area schools. The money that Oscar de la Hoya donates to the schools will be used to fund many schools in the region, including a school named after the generous donar: “Oscar De La Hoya Ánimo Charter High School”."

I think that's just amazing. As a percentage of his income that has to be extremely high, compared to other philanthropists.

Lebron James is telling the NBA: "Give up 23!"

Lebron James is asking the NBA to retire the number 23 in honor Michael Jordan. Lebron announced that he will give up 23, and change his number to 6. The basketball superstar is also pressuring other professional basketball players who wear the number to give up 23 and to join him in retiring it
